CALENDAR OF PEACE & LOVE 2013

Promoting the spirit of peace, brotherhood and friendship, Centre for Youth Development & Activities (CYDA) Pakistan had jointly initiated a campaign “Aaghaz-e-Dosti” by Imov Humans Pakistan and Mission Bhartiyam India. CYDA Pakistan had organized several events promoting the spirit under the campaign “Aaghaz-e-Dosti” since 2012. This year, CYDA Pakistan has come out with a Calendar of Peace & Love which is a joint effort by the youth of Pakistan and India. CYDA Pakistan had organized a competition of paintings earlier this year, which were to be selected for the calendar. Thus, 03 paintings from Pakistan have been selected by the panel of judges.

Selected paintings have been painted by Sibgha Mubeen (Lasani Public School, Sadikabad), Ghulam Mujtba (Lasani Public School, Sadikabad) and Janib Ali Shiekh (MUET, Jamshoro). CYDA Pakistan and Lasani Public School had jointly organized an Award giving ceremony to award the 02 of the young painters promoting the culture of peace, love and harmony.

Sibgha and Mujtba were awarded with Certificates of Achievements, copies of Calendar of Peace & Love 2013, and books were also presented to them.

Principal, Mr. Zafar Ali encouraged the students to participate more and more in such kind of peace-loving activities as promotion of peace and love is the need of the hour too.

Coordinator CYDA, Mubashir Mirza, thanked the students and teachers of the school and said that more and more students and youth should join CYDA and its campaign “Aaghaz-e-Dosti”, and become a catalyst for positive change, and symbol of peace & love while presenting Calendar of Peace & Love to the Principal, Lasani Public School, Sadikabad.
