Inauguration of Umeed IT Centre

(October 18, 2012 - Sadikabad)

To promote computer skills in our youngsters, CYDA Pakistan has taken an initiative "UMEED" which is a self supporting project based on the donations of the responsible citizens of Pakistan to meet its running expenses. Umeed IT Centre has been established in a vision to promote computer educational skills to the under-privileged children who are unable to get quality education for free and to meet today's skill requirements.

In order to boost this project, an inaugural ceremony had been organized at Umeed IT Centre Sadikabad which was held on October 18, 2012 at 1700hrs.


The prominent guests were Mr. Rana Tariq Mahmood Khan (Information Secretary Punjab, PML-F), Mr. Mubashir Ahmed Mirza (President, Centre or Youth Development & Activities-CYDA Pakistan), Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Principal, Lasani Public School SDK), Mr. Hamood Ur Rehman Shaheen (Group Member of UMEED Project).


All the guests appreciated the efforts being done by Centre for Youth Development & Activities (CYDA) Pakistan in Sadikabad region. Furthermore, Mr. Rana Tariq Mehmood also announced an initial grant and assured his active presence whenever CYDA or Umeed requires him at any time.


CYDA has been actively carrying out its projects on self supportive basis without any foreign aids and just ensuring that local dignitaries and citizens take part and make them happen in real and make the initiatives, a success.
